Sports streaming

I basically pay DSTV to watch golf coverage. Is there any one who has done away with DSTV and has paid for a sport streaming service that they can recommend. Have Netflix so looking at options now.

On sports i would think DSTV enjoy a certain level of monopoly. Unfortunately the BEST sports streaming sites are illegal ( via Saudi Arabia).

If you have data, then get yourself a tv box, you will cancel both DSTV and Netflix, it's a once-off payment supported by your data.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Exactly as the "word" says. I hope Lotters sees this post/response.
If You have a smart tv, then you download the various apps. If you don't have a smart tv and don't want to outlay the money, then purchase a tv box. Here in Durban you can purchase these from Makro, Game etc ranging from about R 500.00 and upwards, but you have to upload the apps. Conversely, you can purchase these tv boxes from your local Chinese/Pakistani cell phone repairer download the apps and off you go. In Durban some suppliers are selling the boxes with the apps already loaded, and that is a great help, and they are prepared to load whatever apps you want for free. They even give you the hack code and off you go. The hack is so you don't pay a monthly subscription, and it works.
The more expensive boxes, you may pay a once-off for the vpn, but you don't need that, the apps is the important thing.
Getting back to Lotters, he can watch all the sports he wants, including golf, just depends on the apps, Modbro has a sports viewers delight, golf, soccer, boxing - you name it, it's there. If you live in South Africa, you will cancel both DSTV and Netflix, this puts them to sleep - you just need data, it's not a lot because you will be steaming.
@ Mac, go into Makro or Game, they sell these tv boxes and it's legal - you just need data to support your viewing.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Mac, the sports channels are endless, so is the News channels, series and movies (My Family, etc). Most of the series and movie are watchable the very next day after being aired in the States.

Howzit Bayern.
Listened to your advice and ordered a tv box from takealot.
Could you please tell us which apps you recommend we download.
And are you using a VPN?
Some say it’s 100% necessary.

After lots of research and advice here the Ematic agt 419 4k Ultra HD quad core android tv box google and netflix certified seems to be the winner by experts.around R1400 at Takealot maybe sold out or Makro have in stock.Redbox preferred over Modbro but being free has limitations and problems viewing . Have a cousin in Ireland who pays 40 euros a year gets a code to view all the sport ,movies news etc and even showed me our supersport channels he can watch. We tried his code here for a few hours but unfortunately still had problems with buffering , line speed and maybe going through servers etc adds to not the best result in our country imo . A real pity we are getting fibre shortly in our area so will do the exercise again at a later stage. So to summarize will have my smart TV box shortly but will still have to pay DStV until we can find a hassle free streaming service which hopefully is not to far distant .
