Race (1)
Dragonfly must be the one to beat here, drawn very wide last time, but made up the ground once the penny
dropped.

Race (2)
Two horse race between 1 and 2, preference for 1, Bereave.

Race (3)
Giverny a massive runner from a decent draw. On times over the distance, the one to beat.

Race (4)
Global Ally was all over the place last time, had he run straight, should have finished closer to the winner, or possibly won.

Race (5)
Lillybelle came from a hopeless position last time. Dropping in class, the one to beat.
Race (6)
Hard race.

Race (7)
Senso Unico should appreciate the extra.

Race (8)
Symphony Of Light
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Hi everyone, I’ve got my dad down for the weekend. Will we be allowed in at the Racecourse today? Also, it’s been raining a bit overnight, is racing still on for today? Thanks

No issue with the weather according to sahorseracing.co.za.... not sure about attending at Durbanville, but should not be an issue , especially if you are vaccinated

No correlation between vaccination status and being allowed onto the course whatsoever.

Spectators allowed, but they want you to book.
bookings@caperacing.co.za or whatsapp to 0639298630

The rain will not have much impact- going still fast

Cold and overcast and we have had a bit of rain but shouldn't have much impact as the course still running fast.
Race 1 We have Gentleman running- put the cheek pieces and tongue tie on him and hopefully he will run straight today. At best can earn a cheque. Infinite Peace disappointed last time but on earlier form is the one to beat. Dragonfly good consistent form but no value at short odds. Hinckley and Solar Power both scope for improvement.
Race 2 Bereave is the one to beat but I think too short priced. Mister Vargus can challenge. Captain Dizzy is a threat off a low weight.
Race 3 Magna Mater is my strong first choice and possible banker. Giverny and Chelsea river the main dangers.
race 4 Global Ally has been priced up favourite, but I prefer Tout A Fait. Vengeance Forever good debut and could be a threat.
race 5 Very tricky race. Lillybelle has the scope for improvement, but if she fails its wide open.
Race 6 Very open. I like Fort Red, but could be a field race for the exotics.
Race 7 Senso Unico is a strong first choice and another possible banker. Quite open if he fails. Veni Vidi Vicci is consistent and should be in the money. Very little between Master of Power and Black Belt on their last meeting.
Race 8 Another very open race. Razzle Dazzle Em finally won her maiden last time and is off an undemanding rating against the improving 3yos. Symphony of Light, Europeana, Rising Fenix and Veronique all have claims. KayC Al another older filly that is well weighted.

My cheeky pick 6 : 3 x 4 x F x F x 7 x F = R480

The fav at 5/10 was for my ATC but did not look comfortable going down, better options today.

PE yesterday all over again.
Two 20-1 winners in a row.
At least some sanity in TVL racing.
