R2, strike while the iron's hot, was rubbing my hands together because I thought i got a good price at HW with The Gatekeeper (15/10), WSB has it 1/1, then i saw Sachdev is scratched, hence the adjustment at WSB. Think 1/1 is still a good price considering under the race conditions The Gatekeeper is slung in. Suspect it will jump deep in the red.

R6, MR 68, so I would normally thread with caution, however, I think Ma Black (2/1) is worth a bet. She ran way above her rating last time and did not receive a penalty. She is also dropping in class. Whilst she hasn’t run since May, against a moderate bunch, she could pull this off. Worth an each-way go in a multiple.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Race (1)
Poltergeist second run after the gelding, should be the one to beat from a decent draw.

Race (3)
What A Blizzard hasn’t run against strong fields, think the draw could be the deciding factor. Rhythm Of The Rain is the obvious danger.

Race (4)
Watch the money on the first timer, Spirit Of Silvano, jumping from stall gate 1, wouldn’t need to be too clever to win this.

Race (5)
She’s A Rainbow should finish in the first three, worth a place multiple.

Race (7)
Winter Mosaic is the one to beat in an open race. Definite first two place chance.

Race (8)
What A Thief should finish in the first three.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

We have had a little bit of rain but won’t make any difference- course still running fast and expected to clear up this afternoon. Not much wind.
Race 1 Legitimise has been knocking on the door for a while and should have come on from last run. Is a threat to Poltergeist from the plum draw. State of Shock fair debut, can earn. First timers to consider.
Race 2 Gatekeeper is well in at the weights but upset possible if the pace isn’t genuine.
Race 3 Rhythm of the Rain slightly preferred to What a Blizzard and Dollar a Dime. Easy trifecta these 3.
Race 4 Charlie Squadron overdue his maiden win. Of the raced runners, I want it All and Capt Persia the dangers, but the supported first timer must be respected.
Race 5 She’s a Rainbow nice debut and looks the one to beat. If she fails, all of 1,2,3,7 must be considered.
Race 6 Very open.
Race 7 Also open, but lean towards the 3yos.
Race 8 Looks a boat race between Electric Warrior and Navy Strength. Warrior is the value.
