This is extremely difficult, no gimmes like there were on Saturday.

R3, looks to be very open despite the betting. I am rowing in with Hoedspruit, was 9/1 at WSB, trimmed in a point now. Albeit his rating was not achieved over the sprint distances, for me, he has competed against the class horses of his generation. I don't believe there is any value with Zapatillas even at the current odds of 18/10 (dons the egg visor). If we are to go on ratings, then No Laying Up should win this, but, for me, he hasn't "produced" when bumping strong fields except for the performance in the Golden Horse Sprint, which he has never replicated. Looking at his history, looks to have issues, so I'll brass him. African Rain, whilst he won a Graduation Plate last time, that was against 3 year olds and that form has not been franked. Barzalona has never reproduced that debut effort, and quite frankly has disappoint since. The other Snaith runner, Hyde Park, you would say is better suited to the distance, again, I think when winning, he bumped the sort of fields, can win, can't see it happening tomorrow.

R5, Pacaya (33/10), think the jockey chose the wrong option last time, worth another chance.

R6, Silver Falcon (2/1), finished really well last time. With the scratching of Universal, Silver Falcon should go very, very close.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

The breeding of Rio Supremo entails a win. Taken a place treble with Winchester mansion and All lit up.

Looking forward to race 6, really been impressed with Voldemort's two runs to date. Should be 5 lengths better with Grant up.

Nice card and lots to ponder
race 1: Rock on Captain , formline franked on weekend , tricky draw
race 2: imposing angel , very unlucky last start , filly against colts
race 3: Zapatillas looks to be a very smart sort , banker on the day
race 4: Resonate, trainer comments point to a cracking run today , double with race 3
race 5: Pacaya , unlucky last start when heavily supported , could make amends

Nice ride by Aldo race 1, when he's in the zone he's probably the best pilot in the WC

I took Hoedspruit in some Yankees...... did not go on the nose unfortunately..

Louis the king baby WON at Vaal yesterday & now Hoedspruit, over a distance FAR SHORT OF HIS BEST..
