Race (1)
Difficult race to start the day, reason being, the uncertainty on how any of the raced runners who previously ran in the soft/heavy going, will go on firmer ground, and there are some well-bred first timers who are not well drawn. Any money for the Marcus mount should be taken seriously considering the wide draw.

Race (2)
Infinite Peace was not disgraced in a minor feature last time against winners, if no breathing issues should be a runner here from an iffy draw. Al Bugatti was very green, had to scrubbed along to keep in the race, didn’t corner well, but did made up good ground in the straight. Should improve on that debut run and should be a runner here.

Race (3)
Peut Etre Moi didn’t break well last time and was always playing catch-up with the eventual winner. If getting away on terms, from a good draw should appreciate the extra and the one they all have to beat.

Race (4)
Sunday Island was a clear second last time, had to make up lots of ground on the eventual winner, should have no issues with the extra furlong.

Race (5)
Gimme Dat, probably one of the best 3 year olds in the country, should bey being aimed at the Guineas on breeding, doubt they will cut her in half to win this, but very much alive on class alone. Stable companion, High Hosanna, if we use Winter Mosaic as the “line/collateral’ horse, this is not even a debate. Walk Of Fame, well, Queen Of Quiet is not running here, and they were both punished by another Snaith Runner, Phil’s Dancer. If Gimme Dat stays, she wins this, despite having not run in just short of 7 months.

Race (6)
Trip Of Fortune, if staying, will win this.

Race (7)
One Way Traffic, the key for me is Fourie, why jump off a winning mount which would be, Salvator Mundi, whom he has ridden in the last 7 races.

Race (8)
Kariba Hall at the weights.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Been very busy of lately with local government elections 2021....sticking Masonite boards with posters and making light poles look a like a totem.

Fancy AL Bugatti in the second.

Sunny day, not much wind, course should run fast
Race 1Nippy Winter very tough draw. Magna Mater should contest. Blue Eyed Girl and Dawnofanewday can improve on fair debuts. Chelsea River has a chance. Unraced runners could be a factor.
Race 2., Infinite Peace, Dragon Fly and Captain Persia the best of the raced runners
Race 3 Peut Etre Moi, Fleeting and Dunneball in that order.
Race 4 Sunday Island the one to beat but very open if he fails.
Race 5 Gimme Dat very promising, but has to step up against the older girls. Not much between Walk of Fame and Veronica Mars.
Race 6 Russian Rock should be too good at the weights if he behaves. Some smart 3yos will be interesting to see how they go against him.
Race 7 Very competitive. Crimson King has had 2 grass gallops, and is fit and well, but has to give a lot of weight to a couple of less exposed 4yos which could be still ahead of the handicapper. Black Knap has solid form and should be in the mix.
Race 8 very open
