@ tnaicker, I love you as a forum buddy, but come on how much more evidence do you want before you believe that taking the jab will strengthen your chances of not dying if you catch covid. 99 % of people dying now have not had the jab. People who have been double jab have caught Covid but are not even been hospitalised. The vaccine works.

CNC...………….….We lost M/s M the other day, she was cremated on Tuesday this week.
M/s M worked in a large private hospital. She had come down with Covid a few months back but recovered sufficiently to be able to go back to work.

Being employed in the Covid ward under a Specialist would have required her to be jabbed left and right. Unfortunately she lost the fight.

Mr X was a policeman who lived down the road. His line of duty required him to fight crime I suppose and so he jabbed .
The contingent of police personnel who arrived to pay respects and see him off was disturbing.

And further abroad...……………..dear LISA SHAW. RIP.

You get natural immunity from contracting Covid - It makes absolute sense to rather have the vaccine and have weaker symptoms when you do contract Covid than to hope and pray you are one of the people that have mild symptoms - It is ironic that many many people would not even be alive today if it were not for previous vaccines that have killed things like small pox and polio. I am selfish though so I don't care if people take the vaccine or not as it's their choice to do so even if it makes me sad to hear they have died in a Covid ward. Funny people cry about having to perhaps go for booster shots in the future but think nothing of taking their pets(or horses for AHS) to get boosters every year(and the animals don't die but do get to live for an extended period without Rabies or Parvo etc)

Mr H there's news that the jab will become an annual event, like taking a flu jab from your friendly pharmacy.
Corona V pill will be out too.

As posted, 99% of those who die of Covid now have not been jabbed. The one percent of those who have been jabbed and still die have all had very serious underlying health issues. Too late to ask for the jab when they are sticking a ventilator down your throat. Get the jab today.

If it means getting International travel and trade back and a saving of lives then sign me up - Too many people have been hurt financially and emotionally during this lockdown period and I did my part in trying to get the country back on track by having my vaccine though maybe I was more driven as I had already had Covid and thought I'd rather be double protected than rely solely on my natural immunity as I did not enjoy the Covid symptoms.

Is that news to you - to me common sense led me to that conclusion some time ago

mate of mine a prominent breeder got it. 10 days in the ward saw 5 people carried out. had 1 jab reckoned it saved him despite oxygen dropping to 78. reckons every antivaxxer came in desperate for a jab but as chicken says its too late she cried waving her wooden leg aloft. imagine the feeling of regret and anger as you face the reality of covid and your impending doom that you could have had a jab and saved yourself yet on the back of retards on social media you chose not to. could have would have should have didnt. what a way to go.

Imagine in the 80's and 90's if everyone decided that doctors were lying when they said wearing a condom would stop the spread of AIDS - how full would the graveyards be now - And remember our esteemed President that denied Hiv caused AIDS and the millions of people that were harmed by his ignorance and his crony that said Garlic would kill the HIV virus- not so long ago but still some learn nothing from history

Many thanks @cnc and @bayern and others for your posts on the topic...

As I have stated, the vaccines certainly assist those in at-risk categories to have less severe symptoms if infected and is a likely must for those persons...they will continue to need assistance in the form of boosters and I most certainly hope there are no longer term effects as those nearest and dearest to me have all been fully vaccinated...

As I have posted earlier in the year, my mother in law, with a good few pre-existing conditions, tested positive and without any vaccine available was ill for a few weeks but has since fully recovered...another cousin, in his 30's, with one pre-exisiting condition and vaccinated, recently passed away after 3 days in hospital...no-one else in my immediate family has tested positive...

So, I don't know what to make of all this and I'm following the science as I know it...at-risk categories must take the vaccines to offer some protection...if not in an at-risk category, take all non-pharmeceutical precautions as were required pre-vaccine...this virus is going to be around for a long time like most other coronaviruses...

So, stay safe and healthy...I will not post on this topic again...will focus on trying to help each other make a few cents every day...

I have had my 2 covid vaccines and have argued with people that don't want them. I ask them why they wear safety belts in whilst driving and they normally answer if they have an accident it minimises the injuries. So a bruised shoulder and chest as opposed to life threatening injuries

Maybe what is trying to be explained here is that, even wearing a seat belt is no guarantee that one will not die as a result of a motor accident, but it does minimise injury in certain instances. Just like the vaccine, it's not guaranteeing one won't die if contracting the virus, but it does minimise mortality
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.
