Trying to get a refund on the soccer promotion money back - the operators tell me my ticket with odds of 20/1 does not qualify because i predicted the draw. What they are actually saying i had to choose either Man Utd or Tottenham to win, the draw selection does not qualify.
Here's the question, please guide me in the promotion rules where it states this - the draw does not qualify.
The first person who left me hanging on the phone until it cut off, stated the odds are less than 5/1, but she was looking at the odds of the match in isolation, not the accumulative odds of the ticket.
Now we at a stalemate, nobody can explain to the workers how the rules work.
This is so frustrating when each time we have the same conversation.
Can someone from Hollywood please contact me.
God have mercy, just been told the reason they are not paying, the odds for the game in question (Man Utd v Tottenham) which was 2.45 was bigger than the preceding game on the ticket - never heard of such crap in my life. Be that as it may, show my in the rules/T&C's where all this is stated.
Funds finally paid out, but here's the argument of why they first refused. Because the first 7 teams odds were short and the last game the odds were bigger than (say) even money, they are of the opinion that i may be abusing the rules and it is not in the spirit of the promotion. My response, what a load of garbage, if the first seven are guaranteed winners, no one will have a day job - think about it. This past weekend i did not stick in my "anchors, Bayern Munich (draw), Man City at home (draw), Barcelona (lost) and Real Madrid (draw).

Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.
